Jacket with Lumalive technology

In this project we were challenged to develop a concept that makes an everyday experience seem magic by employing emerging technologies.

Grieg Robinson, Winston Wong and I, for our everyday situation, chose walking in the rain, something we have a lot of experience of in Glasgow. We selected Philips Lumalive textiles as a technology that could make walking in the rain magival.

The concept was presented with a stand alone video prototype(above).
